These books are a great read for those kids who like to read chapter books that aren't too advanced. This series contains comic style pictures and humour (which can be slightly rude at times) in an easy to ready style.
My Mum bought me the first of the series, The 13-Storey Treehouse, to read on a plane trip to Fiji. After much pestering she gave in a let me begin reading it two days before our trip, only to be surprised when I had finished the whole book a half hour later. I was 7 at the time. And that was the beginning of my reading career.
So obviously, this series is hard to put down, but the good thing is, they just keep coming. These books follow 2 kids named Andy and Terry (coincidentally the same names as the authors) as they build an ever expanding tree house. Each new book sees 13 new storeys added to the treehouse. My personal favourite being the level with the lemonade fountain.
There are currently 8 books in the series, and the next instalment, "The 117-Storey Treehouse" is due out in September 2019.
If you like a good plot line, a hilarious duo and a great book then this is the book for you. All in all I would rate this book 6 years and above.
