Alex Rider: James Bond in Miniature

Alex Rider is one of the best book series I have ever read. It is all about a 14-year-old boy who is recruited by MI6 and is sent on missions for the CIA, MI6, the ASIS and SAS. It is like he is James Bond in miniature.

One thing I love about Alex Rider is he is always forced and manipulated but he still fights for what is right no matter what happens and no matter how many times he nearly dies.

My favourite book is probably number 5, Scorpia, which is all about Alex looking for the biggest terrorist organization in the world called Scorpia. I love it because Alex goes rogue for a bit, giving a juicy storyline.

I think Alex Rider can and should be read between 9-16 years of age considering some of the slightly advanced themes such as death and murder as well as pointless plots of terrorism. I also think readers who enjoy crime, action, espionage and techy inventions should read Alex Rider.

Stay tuned for more books
