Carter Kane lives in a suitcase. He and his dad, a world renowned egyptologist, travel around the world looking for and examining artefacts. However, Carter feels that there is something strange about his dad's work.
Sadie Kane lives in Britain with her barmy grandparents, while her brother, Carter travels the world. When her dad comes and takes her and her brother to a museum, things start to go horribly wrong. When their dad is kidnapped they must save him from the clutches of the Egyptian god of evil, Set. Along the course of the series Carter and Sadie must defeat spiteful gods, dark deities and prevent the endgame result of the Serpent of Chaos, Apophis rising.
I recommend this series for avid readers from Year 3 to Year 9 and lovers of fantasy and mythology. I loved this series and any lover of the Myth Master, Rick Riordan will too. Join Carter and Sadie as they travel through the Duat, learn new spells and find the full extent of their powers. A genius structure for writing that makes you crave for more. BE WARNED!!! Once you pick up this series, you won't put it down until you're done. I rate it 10/10!
